Better start stocking up on water if you don't have a clean natural water source. I live way up in the backwoods in a tiny little town and we used to have prestine water up until a couple decades ago. Now all of our well water and natural aquifers are contaminated and undrinkable unless you want cancer thanks to all of the farming fields that use pesticides and the heavy nitrogen leaks and pfas aka the forever chemical. cancer is rampant up here and most don't know why but I believe it's our poisoned aquifers.

Except rainwater is super contaminated AND "THEY" are able to control rainfall.

to be fair, they just move it around, they can't stop it from evaporating and condensing

Right but most natural water is contaminated and undrinkable such as our natural water around my area that used to be delicious. Now it tastes like chemicals and leaves nasty thick white powder type residue on dishes (which it never used to do). Then you have nasty city water treated with so many chemicals and added fluoride. One of the only way to get decent water nowadays is to buy it and test it yourself. I buy distilled water, right now it's 99 cents a gallon by me.

Pfas are IMPOSSIBLE to remove from water.
There's a reason Pfas are nicknamed the "forever chemical".

Stop pretending water filtration is magic, also please stop pretending that water isn't just a few elements arranged in a particular way.

They used to say we can't make water desalination economical and now AU has a massive water desalination plant that does just that.

Just saying, if you admit defeat before you even imagine the possibilities, well...

That is just evil. Next, they'll be betting (hedging) on clean air futures.

A wonderful example of capitalism run amok.

There's tons of farm fields everywhere and they spray them heavily. So much so that pesticides show up in aquifers and wells.
