If the earth is a globe, how is it possible that a photograph of the Alps in its splendor can be taken from the Pyrenees? | |

I just posted a thread about this this morning that was deleted. I wonder why? Maybe it’s because the moderators here are helping to cover up one of the greatest deceptions in modern history: ball earth. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77922972 Anyway, the Alps are over 275 miles from the Pyrenees. Based on the curvature calculation for Earth, the Alps should be completely obscured by the curvature, yet they are visible. Here is a curvature calculator: [link to dizzib.github.io (secure)] Are you fucking dumb? I am speaking...hence I am, by definition, not dumb. Maybe you should learn a thing or two before you project here. |

And how is it possible that lighthouses can sometimes be seen from 75 miles away, when they should be obscured by hundreds of feet of curvature? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77922972 The earth is not a ball such as a soccer or basketball... there are flats, valleys, mountains, rises, bowls such as death valley. You can see farther in some places than others! So, in the case of your picture you have to take into consideration all these things along with the enormous height of the Alps. If the earth was truly flat why hasn't proof of people falling off the edge been provided?!!? None so blind as those who refuse to see |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77409540 Just like planes, rockets need atmosphere to work Nope, rockets are actually easy to prove The mixing of the gases happens inside the rocket, and the explosion happens outside the rocket Thats why Rockets WORK in space in a vacuum In fact, they work better in a vacuum than in the atmosphere, since in a vacuum, there is no air resistance. The combustion from rockets need the friction of atmosphere to propel. Just like air planes if there is no resistance no lift or movement. Rockets in “space” is like a car on jacks. How can there be aliens if there is no other celestial bodies in the universe and its just lights on a dome. How can I see Jupiter and Saturn through my telescope if its a dome. How do you explain Meteors that hit the earth every day, where do they come from? how do you explain comets, what are they rolling on the dome? No my friend, flat earth theory is a lame theory made up by retards who dont know math and science, then passed on to other retards who keep spouting the same retarded false math, then picked up by other weak minded retards, and the whole reason is it a thing is because its used by retards who are just plain stupid to argue with the rest of us who went to school and listened in school, its only purpose is to be opposed to the rest of us, to give retards something to argue about. Most of you cant even do math let alone prove of provide actual math and science to back up this retarded theory that can and has been proven wrong so many times before. Yes, the earth is in fact round, just not spherical. Light follows the curvature of the earth-its a gravity thing. Also light travels at different speeds depending on latitude. A 3d map of the earth can be reduced to a 2d map. Even the accepted map as Flat or Globe is wrong as areas are blanked out or changed for "reasons" not to be known by the masses. There are logical inconsistencies in the Flat Earth theory but no one bothers to look for them because the theory is so exciting. |

If you believe in a flat earth, you need to ask yourself why when you look up at the stars you see different constellations in different parts of the world. Ever seen the southern cross? You have if you are in the southern hemisphere. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78429013 Ever wonder why you only see Orion in winter, if the earth is flat? Come on guys... The earth turns and tilts. This is absolute proof that we don’t live on a globe, as modern science maintains. There must be at least a few converts out there who realize the truth... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77922972 Yes I’m here. Converted in 2015 took 18months to get over it. I have a degree in geography and it was hard to admit it was all a lie. I get reminded every month when I pay my loans. I don’t talk about it much. Sure made every crazy thing going on now easier to take. |
