If the earth is a globe, how is it possible that a photograph of the Alps in its splendor can be taken from the Pyrenees?

Because the photographer said he was using refraction to try and achieve world record photographs for distance.
 Quoting: Achduke7

Where does he say that?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77599233

To his left, other peaks of the Alps we also seen. Refractive favorable circumstances allowed to view some other peaks, even that more distant than the Barre des Ecrins. Pic Gaspard, 443 Km, is what has given us this time the brand new World Record of distant photograph of landscapes in our planet.
 Quoting: Achduke7

Even if he says that, he is mistaken, since he is probably brainwashed into the globe earth model and thinks that it has to be refraction.

But is was not.

Btw, where did you get that quote from? I didn’t see it the first two times I read through the description.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77599233

It is on the blog with the picture they took. From the OP 2nd post. Near the bottom.

This is a similiar effect with refraction but changes more rapidly depending on the conditions.

Look at the 2nd link and you will see a floating ship in the air.

Here is another floating ship.

A Fata Morgana can magnify a distant object and bring it closer. On a normal day you would not see the object or it would be small. When the conditions are right a Fata Morgana will project the object much larger and closer.

Eric Dubay (with his International Flat Earth Research Society) is one of the greatest purveyors of truth of the contemporary age. Two points:

For a Fata Morgana to work, the object has to be in the line of sight already, I.e. it won’t work over the alleged curve.

Second, the mirage appears OVER the horizon, not with the horizon.

There is simply no way that the photograph was a mirage, but even if it WAS, there is no way that it would magnify objects over a purported horizon. Hence, the earth is flat.

A Fata Morgana raises an object in the distance that is barely viewable or not viewable at all up above the horizon often times distorting the image also. It does the same thing. Raises your view. In this case it makes ships look like they are floating.

I've said that before too, However, I don't believe it spins, doesn't make sense since the gravity needed to keep the oceans from flying off of the earth would be so great that we would not even be able to get up off of the floor, lol. Think about that one, lol.

you know humans are mostly made of water?

You do know The total molecular weight of water is only 18 grams. also air pressure and the attraction of each individual molecule to the center of mass and each other keeps the oceans in place. Mass of the earth gives a greater attractive force than that of the earth tuning slowly once every 24 hours..you will no doubt say but, but 1000mph......that is nothing speed is relative.

Re: If the earth is a globe, how is it possible that a photograph of the Alps in its splendor can be taken from the Pyrenees?
I just posted a thread about this this morning that was deleted. I wonder why? Maybe it’s because the moderators here are helping to cover up one of the greatest deceptions in modern history: ball earth.

Anyway, the Alps are over 275 miles from the Pyrenees. Based on the curvature calculation for Earth, the Alps should be completely obscured by the curvature, yet they are visible.

Here is a curvature calculator:

Earth is not flat. Earth is not a globe. Earth is a square, a cube. Bizzaro World.

I've said that before too, However, I don't believe it spins, doesn't make sense since the gravity needed to keep the oceans from flying off of the earth would be so great that we would not even be able to get up off of the floor, lol. Think about that one, lol.

You are right that it doesn’t spin.

you know humans are mostly made of water?

You do know The total molecular weight of water is only 18 grams. also air pressure and the attraction of each individual molecule to the center of mass and each other keeps the oceans in place. Mass of the earth gives a greater attractive force than that of the earth tuning slowly once every 24 hours..you will no doubt say but, but 1000mph......that is nothing speed is relative.

ROFL

Explain Tidal forces and orbital bodies if no gravity. Explain objects falling in a vacuum chamber? Density does not give you a downward vector. What gives things Mass? no it not density.

Though that video may SEEM to prove globe earth, it doesn’t, because the limited scope of the suns rays plus the law of perspective can give the same result on a flat earth.

Why is the air pressure in my house the same as outside? why does this pressure drop the higher you go from sea level? if you removed the atmosphere would you float off the planet? Because that what you saying.

Tidal forces are caused by the ebb and flow of water at the magnetic mountain at the North Pole. Orbital bodies exist due to the electromagnetic flux of earth and its atmosphere. Objects fall in a vacuum chamber because their density is greater than the surroundings: that density does in fact give the downward vector. Mass is not caused by density, but they are interrelated.
