I'm fucking annoyed with cellular service! Are they fucking with me because I'm conservative? How about you? Please read this...

Last night, i left a voicemail for a client letting them know I'd need to reschedule today's job. I do not believe the client received the message.

This happens FAR too often and i cannot wrap my head around why...

When you can call out perfectly fine and are able to be connected to the voice mailbox of somebody, leave a message and hangup, why the fuck is that voicemail often times never received?

Do you realize how bad that can make ones credibility appear to others?

This happens way too often anymore.

Text messages work fine, calling works fine, but voicemails, even after being prompted and going through all necessary steps to ensure they should be left, simply aren't working for my clients specifically.

It's terribly annoying and costing me work.

I'm so over this digital era already.

Have you had this happen as often as i have? I ask these clients if they received my voicemail and they have not! These people have no reason to lie and i find they're upset if they don't get communicated with, understandably. I've been sending texts anymore to prevent loss of communication and have been explaining to them what has been occurring. Most are fine after that, but some, like older people especially with home phones, just don't believe me or cannot receive text messages.
