How many know of elderly that have advanced into Dementia because of the shutdowns?
The last shutdown definitely caused BOTH of my Grandmas to advance into Dementia :(

On my dad's side, my 84 yr old Grandma has advanced into late stages of Dementia. Before the shutdown, you couldn’t really tell anything was “off.” Maybe she might have asked some questions more than once, but other than that she was still able to take care of herself. She was able to go out and about to the casino, grocery store, I think she was still driving, etc. She had something to LIVE for!

But because everything shutdown, (she lives in Michigan) she was stuck at home, mostly alone. Thankfully my youngest brother has been living there for 8 years and kept her company and can take care of her. But she had Nowhere to go to get exercise and keep her body & mind moving! Moving the body has a LOT to do with brain health and keeping the mind moving!

Thankfully we are not brainwashed sheep and have visited her more than a handful of times this past half year, instead of staying home and being scared. And I did notice she seemed more spacey as the months went by. The last time we visited last month, she was asking us the same questions over and over and over. Even then it didn’t register to me that she was getting that bad. Now in the past few weeks she has worsened and stopped eating and now hospice comes in once a week to help her and my brother with supplies, etc.
We visited over this past weekend and her spirits perked up and by the second day she was eating food again! Before that all she wanted was liquids.

Go visit your grandparents! They might need it more than you could ever realize...

The other Grandma on my mom's side:
My aunt informed me that this is exactly what happened to my other grandma too! 😲 During this stupid shutdown! (My other Grandma lives in Missouri.) She couldn’t go to church or the weekly movies or her dinners twice a week with neighbors anymore.

So she was forgetting what day it was and was forgetting to take meds or doubled them or thought she took them etc.
She then got a uti and found herself hallucinating. My aunt thought she had a stroke.

They visited her in may and by June my aunt went back because grandma was believing how bad it was on tv. She believed being over 70 and thought it was the younger people that could go out only. 😟

It’s why they sold her house and recently moved her to live with them in Arizona, she needed the daily activities and to know what day it was etc. she would lay down for a nap when she got up think it was a new day and take her meds again and have no clue.

Have you all checked on your grandparents lately?

ESPECIALLY if they live alone!

My mom, 86, has gotten worse, she used to go shopping and to the library and bookstore regularly by herself, then the pandemic hit. It's not been good for her at all, her memory is much worse, and she's depressed.

This has really sucked for old people.

Yeah, they definitely get the short end of the stick in all of this. I had a part time library job that I've been furloughed from since March (I'm in Illinois), and most of the patrons were older in age. I wonder how many I will never see again once I ever go back to work...

Proving dementia is hard but I can assure you that seniors in care are taking an emotional beating in this because their families and routine are everything. It is logical to conclude that withdrawing interaction with people certainly cannot help people's mental state.

Biden certainly went downhill fast.
I believe in science NOT religion. Giving me bad karma for that, is anti-religious (you're passing judgement) I am just a man. Of no significance. Who found religion to be full of lies, and wrong doing, conflicted teachings
I understand microwave communications.
I do not stand for the NWO, it sucks.

Most elderly women have "dementia" because they are being abused by their husbands and children. When they aren't good for cooking and washing anymore they just starve them to death.

Many of them are finally able to be separated from their abusers and get the help they need. Family kill infants, family kill vulnerable elderly. I gave food to several who were being allowed to starve. Forcing women to put their children in day care reduced the number that were killed, just like putting men in prison keeps them alive.
