David Niven wants another chance at love after he is "misplaced" on his way to Heaven. (1946) Time to get out the popcorn and a box of tissues. So heart-felt. These older films are classics, wholesome and precious. Sequence taken from 5 minutes into the film, till he jumps from his plane. Believe it or not, @ one point this film was entitled "Stairway To Heaven." In fact, when I watched it as a kid on American TV in the early 1970's, every single time it appeared, the "million dollar movie" graphics had "Stairway To Heaven" as the title, whenever they'd come back from a commercial break. |
