If you wanted to know how easy it would be to get the populace to accept the mark of the beast in their body, well, you now have your answer. They will line up for it.

Re: Disturbing - Many LOVE the Restrictions.
I’m trying to figure it out.

I’ve seen it first-hand with several family members on family text. They seem downright excited with the new restrictions placed locally, as mild as they are compared to other places. That’s the only way I can describe it accurately - there’s real energy and excitement about the new restrictions, like they can now become more fully part of the pandemic movie they’re playing in their heads.

To be clear, this isn’t about my family members. I’m using them as first-hand experience with how the minds work of those who are compliant. It’s disturbing. It’s like street theatre and they can’t wait to participate.

I’m interested in hearing what others’ experiences are with those all on-board with restrictions, and what you think is their motivation behind it. So many people are acting in ways I never thought the majority in society would act like.
 Quoting: Runningwithscissors

I truly believe, as much as it hurts to type it, whether Trump remains in the White House (or not), that we are beyond the tipping point of what would be known as "global domination."

I have been furloughed for 8 months; I still receive my medical/dental benefits. However, I have not been able to contribute to my 401K or any other "work related" benefit/investment. Given the global impact on world economies, I believe that even if everything went back to "normal" tomorrow, that we have passed the tipping point of any "normalcy." The "big dogs" will succeed in enslaving all of us, whether we want to admit it (or not). Without compliance, you will be shunned by society and receive NOTHING! I am not compliant or complacent, but with 5 kids and a wife, what are the options? Unemployment is a joke, our savings have been depleted, we are both out of work (mind you both highly educated and successful in our (past) careers), and the workforce looks grim.

At what point do morals and necessities collide? At what point does acceptance and desperation cross paths? If this is just MY story, think of the global effect this will have for the decades to come.

Who decides who gets what handouts? Does someone running around a Ugandan village get the same as someone with a mortgage, etc.? We're all about to be completely fkd, while grabbing our ankles (without lube), regardless of this elections end result. Why? Because the big dogs are blatantly announcing that they are shoving down our throats and there is ZERO effort to "mask" (pun intended) it.

I don’t have kids yet but I am fixing to have them. For me, I am going to set an example for my kids NO MATTER the costs. I will not take a vaccine even if it impacts my children. I don’t see that as selfish because this is religious for me; it is biblical. I would rather my children suffer while doing what is right in this life than to be condemned for eternity because they took the mark. I am willing to eat out of trash cans or shelter my family in a tent in the woods while I gather food and protect them than live off this system. My philosophy will be avoidance. The longer you can go to resist the vaccine means the greater chance that those who took it will develop side effects. They are like the test subjects.

Hopefully, there is a good chance that people will rebel against it once they see that. I also believe that the smartest and Christian play is avoidance in regards to politics and war. The longer you can hold out and avoid; the greater chance it will be over without you firing a shot or putting your family in harms way. The Ten Commandments say: “thou shall not kill.” Its thou shalt not kill period. There is no asterisk there. If it is in total self defense or defense of your family ... maybe ... but it should never come down to that if you have good avoidance skills.

Everyone is who plans to resist the vaccine should be stockpiling cancer goods, rice, a way to cook in the woods and without power, propane, charcoal, or gasoline. You also need a water source you can purify or clean water source just in case. My source is the ocean. I live next to it and have a very small emergency water desalinator. People think you need all these MRE type shit to prep or it has to be expensive. It doesn’t just buy non-perishables and stock up slowly. Also, I read this guy’s account of societal collapse and I think lighters will be worth a lot for trading so buy those in bulk. Get a tent and have a bugout plan. Have multiple plans. If you can stock enough food you might be able to survive in the woods or national forests to hide until all this blows over even if you don’t have a job or anything if you are PREPARED

I agree, that’s true in many cases. But it seems to be more than that, I think.
 Quoting: Runningwithscissors

Yes, more than that. People are tired: Tired of working with underpay, unappreciative employers, no money to take real vacation, tired of meaningless social activities, and commitments, family needs, demands, endless shopping, houses that need expensive repairs, old cars falling apart, appliance needing repairs or replacement, bodies falling apart, and not good health coverage, pets to care...They need a break and this just seems like a break. But it is deceptive, because like all drugs,it has side affects.

We like the excuse to be lazy. Some people wanted to do Secret Santa at work. I told them, "Bah Humbug, no, not interested" in my return response. Seems I'm not the only one. I thought, I have been cooped up for months not doing anything but going to work, coming home, and rushing through the grocery store. No shopping at all except on-line for clothes/shoes, birthdays, household items... I thought to myself, do I really want to drive all the way to either Walmart 45 min away or Gainesville (1+ hour away) just to get some cheap little Secret Santa gifts along with the cards and wrapping paper and all that goes with it? Nope.

I would have jumped at the chance any other year, but COVID has made me lazy and selfish.

I think even a lot of us greatly underestimated the brainwashing power of the TV. Personally I believe that’s what the big digital switch 12 years ago was about.

Yes, in addition to the simple fact that working from home is perfectly possible for productive people.

But reading some of the comments here ... for some and for society it makes no difference if they are forced to "work" at the workplace or at home or not at all.
Seems therefore totally possible that they actually enjoy the lockdown so they can do want they want to do: nothing.

because they get to sit at home pretending they're being productive while receiving a paycheck. it's pretty simple.

I believe that movie was based on a screenplay from a liberal writer, a woman who assumed she was portraying a dystopia ruled over by big-meanie conservatives.

Re: Disturbing - Many LOVE the Restrictions.
There are an astonishing number of people who prefer to be told what to do and what to think. Having to make their own decisions and think for themselves is a constant source of anxiety - what if they get it wrong? What if they pick the wrong course of action? What if they believe the wrong thing? What if they get in trouble for it?

Having a source of "authority" make all the decisions for them is a relief. If they do what they're told, they're safe, they're part of a group doing the "right" things and don't have the constant stress of wondering what they should do - someone else is doing that hard work for them.

The saddest part is most of them don't even understand why they behave the way they do. They only know that they feel better when someone stronger than them is in control.

At my work, a few small brains would get the covid positive test aka cold/flu, go home for 2 week quarantine, come back and think they survived some epic war and think they are a purple heart medal recipient. They weren't even any sicker than normal.

They literally believe everything on TV (virus scary, orange man bad) and think hand sanitizer is a magic potion and keep rubbing it on themselves every few minutes ... literally OCD.

They cannot think past the TV narrative. These small brains can work on complicated machines and diagnose machine problems but cannot think about their life/health or how voting certain ways would affect their community, let alone question the federal government and our history beyond what their social media tells them. They literally don't know that communist governments have killed over 100 million of their own citizens.

I struggle, daily, to comprehend how these small brains deserve saving. It's like they want to be used and abused and slaughtered no matter how many times u rescue them from bad decisions.
