Normally they feel worthless but if a big govt forces something on everyone just to save them, well it's very ego inflating.
Quoting: Song of the Wind + the LOCK DOWN LOVE is similar to how TDS infected people. Part of it, I think, is most people have a need to be part of something bigger than themselves, more or less. With a decline in religion, a supremely subjective worldview, and an increase in general laziness causing many to avoid community participation, for some the void gets filled by government mandates from on high. Like CULT indoctrination for the weak minded.
