Maybe low oxygen levels are enough to cause blood clots in an otherwise healthy person. Maybe we're starting to see the effects of what long term mask wearing does. Personally, I ive in a mask mandated state, but I'm lucky to work for myself so I only wear one when I'm in stores, and even then I don't wear it over my nose. But the one time i had to wear it for over an hour I started almost immediately feeling dizzy and light headed and found myself pulling it down to breathe whenever someone wasn't looking. I am also a nurse, however, I work at a large clinic. When the virus first hit the U.S. we were told by the higher ups that we could not wear masks because it would scare the patients and that masks were deemed unnecessary by the CDC. Nurses that I know who work for other facilities are also initially forbidden from wearing masks. When the virus hit our city, that changed and we were permitted to wear masks, but it was too late. Over thirty five employees had contacted the virus. We set up a patient screening protocol and an Isolation unit to get symptomatic patients. I contracted the virus last May. I'm 60 and have never experienced anything like it in my life. I felt as though I had been poisoned. I lost my taste and smell first, along with severe weakness, nausea and diarrhea. Five days later, I could hardly breath and felt as though I had chards of glass in my lungs every time I took a breath. It was a roller coaster ride. I would get better, go downhill again and so on... I was out of work for four weeks. I still have no taste. This past month we have seen an increase in positive cases. There are lines of people outside the clinic waiting to be tested consistently. We are running low on PPE. Our hospitals are close to being maxed out and this is just the beginning. We're hearing rumors of another shutdown in the next few weeks. The store shelves are starting to get empty again. This is going to be like nothing we have ever seen. They had 16 patients a month ago and now they are down to 6 patients as of Friday. The hospital have started back doing a lot of surgeries and doing some hiring as of now. My wife said that half of the patients with COVID were overweight African Americans. My wife has been a critical care nurse for 30 years. What she is seeing it is improving but like she said that is subject to change. All I know is that I have seen otherwise "normal" people die at a much earlier age than they should have. I am not giving any medical advise, rather I am going to tell you what I do. This is how I approach life in the time of COVID: I am on the front lines as a dentist in the Midwest, and I spend a great deal of my time about 14 inches away from around 16 to 24 patients' faces a day. Obviously, I already practice universal precautions with Personal Protective Equipment, like I always have. I don't get tested by nasal swab. I don't trust it. It is potentially a method to inoculate you with something surreptitiously. As you may have concluded, I have never taken a "flu shot," either. Contact tracing is utterly ineffectual and consequently, stupid. I keep my personal immune system "up." Get plenty of rest. Decrease stressors, if possible. Take liposomal Vitamin C. Vitamin D3 with K2. Vitamin B complex. Selenium. CoQ10. Melatonin at bedtime. Quercetin AND Zinc. Flush out nasal passages morning and night with a compressed sterile saline nasal irrigator, like "Simply Saline." Drink hot tea with Chaga mushroom. If I get congested or a sore throat, I put a drop of Oreganol P73 under my tongue. After the initial shutdown, I've been back working since early May and no staff in my office, or I, have been ill. Have we been exposed? Most certainly. I know of many people that have been ill with it and even more that have isolated because of exposure. Fortunately, I only know of a handful that have died because of it. If you take the personal responsibility of keeping your immune system up, and you don't have any chronic illnesses that make you more susceptible to COVID, then you shouldn't care about testing. In short, if someone in my profession can survive, anyone can. It is up to you to get your immune system optimized. If you do have chronic illnesses that make you more susceptible to COVID, then you must be more careful and your best course of action depends upon your condition. This is what I do. I will be looking for changes in the manifestations with my patients and I will report anything here that looks different. So far, I don't see it. |

Resources and supplies were disappearing before we started getting slammed with the latest batch of "COVID". The hospitals in this area are on their knees, staffing and resources are vanishing in conjunction with additional patients who are very ill. Too few beds, staff, equipment. Support staff and departments for nurses and doctors are being scaled back. Back in the spring and summer, nothing was happening. The ER looks like a third world zoo and the staff cannot cope. If I have to give you emergency IV meds I have to fight to get a damn IV pump and other equipment needed. We are not being stocked. It's like the budget for supplies is gone. On top of this our regular medical patients with COPD, CHF, Kidney failure are coming in sicker and sicker because the community care they need to manage their chronic illnesses is collapsing. I have been in healthcare 20 years and never have seen things this bad. I have no idea what is happening. I can only tell you what I am seeing and it is giving me a bad feeling. Hospital administration is NEVER honest with nurses and doctors and is refusing to talk to us and answer questions or hear our concerns as per usual. Any requests for help or whistleblowing on unsafe patient conditions within the hospital gets labelled as "bad attitude". Short version, blood toxicity caused by excessive carbon dioxide inhalation due to extended mask wear and underlying issues such as alcoholism and drug abuse. Both are common among the public and have increased exponentially in the past eight months. Excessive OTC pain killer use is the most common and widely accepted form of drug abuse but prescription medication abuse is also wide spread. OTC and Prescription painkillers can both lead to kidney and respiratory failure as well as high blood toxicity. Mixing alcohol and medication which is a common method of dealing with stress increases the risk of kidney and liver failure drastically. Mixing medications, even OTC painkillers can lead to fatal conditions as well. In regards to respiratory failure and excessive mucus production, pneumonia and especially bacterial pneumonia are of great concern with extended mask use and a number of people are at higher risk such as smokers, marijuana users and vapers as well as those with underlying conditions they may not be aware of such as emphysema. All hospital staff around the country are presently under some form of restriction and treatment is presently delayed or cancelled. Hospital administrators are the least likely to care about the patients coming in even under the best of circumstances let alone present conditions and everyone is under pressure to conform to "the covid rule" so odd, emotional or aggressive behavior out of staff at all levels is common. |

They are throwing clots everywhere and that is what kills them. Did they release a second wave? Is it a bad flu season that appears to look like what they are calling "COVID", or is this something else completely that has no name yet. Something COMPLETELY fucky is up. Resources and supplies were disappearing before we started getting slammed with the latest batch of "COVID". The hospitals in this area are on their knees, staffing and resources are vanishing in conjunction with additional patients who are very ill. Too few beds, staff, equipment. Support staff and departments for nurses and doctors are being scaled back. Back in the spring and summer, nothing was happening. The ER looks like a third world zoo and the staff cannot cope. If I have to give you emergency IV meds I have to fight to get a damn IV pump and other equipment needed. We are not being stocked. It's like the budget for supplies is gone. On top of this our regular medical patients with COPD, CHF, Kidney failure are coming in sicker and sicker because the community care they need to manage their chronic illnesses is collapsing. I have been in healthcare 20 years and never have seen things this bad. I have no idea what is happening. I can only tell you what I am seeing and it is giving me a bad feeling. Hospital administration is NEVER honest with nurses and doctors and is refusing to talk to us and answer questions or hear our concerns as per usual. Any requests for help or whistleblowing on unsafe patient conditions within the hospital gets labelled as "bad attitude". What is "throwing clots"? Thanks for the information. Never mind found it: The clot blocks the normal flow of blood. This blockage can cause serious problems, like damage to your lungs and low oxygen levels in your blood. The lack of oxygen can harm other organs in your body, too. I got one instruction here, but then they didn't tell this person but they thought I was here but it was the wrong phone number, etc, etc. I never had so many mixups in 90 minutes. As a nurse, 900 things are hitting me per second and completely mixed up from the onset. Impossible to even keep up with a fraction of what is getting thrown at you. Admissions arrive and get assigned to a nurse (these are very sick and complicated people) without the nurse getting or being able to even access the necessary information she needs to know about them, while she has 8 other patients already and is drowning and no help. This is done by management and their uneducated clerical minions, who have zero liability. The nurse has full liability if something gets missed or fucked up. Fucking shitshow. I am scared to go to work. Time to apply at the gas station. Hey OP, you do Gods work there, saving people every day will be paid a lot in the afterlife. Its good to stay with eyes open and try to do your best. in the event that SHTF I understand to change your job, but until then keep up the good work!  |
