This is just one example of how we are fooled, framed, fucked and fired up against each other. And I am talking on a global level, not just from a USA perspective, as much as they are in the heated spotlights these days. It is your own choice to read this rant or not. It probably is too long for some people's liking. No problem. You are the master of your own time and thoughts.

We used to investigate things like these on this site, but we don't anymore. Instead we listen and look at one liner Tell Sell politicians, on either side of the aisle, who are nothing but marketeers with their own agenda, who praise their goods and preach their beliefs through 24/7 media channels, including all social media outlets and we gobble up every video and "breaking news" item as being the truth. And in the meantime we degrade, ridicule, abuse and wish each other illnesses and death for having a different opinion or questioning what is presented. People who we are friends with, on our buddy list, in our neighborhood. What the hell are we doing??

Wake the fuck up people. We are being harvested, like AI robots. These guys with their double agendas, politicians on either side of the spectrum and not just in the USA, media moguls, billionaires etc., are able to sell the Pope a double bed and a wedding ring. But does that mean there is a wedding planned at the Vatican?

Our neighbor, whether they voted red, blue, black, white or yellow, is not our enemy. These marketeers and their Tell Sell channels are. Social media, where every idiot with a smartphone can create, edit, cut and paste a video and sell it as the truth, just for the sake of getting likes and visibility. People don’t do that out of strong beliefs, that they will defend till the end, they do it to belong to a community, to be heard, seen, liked.

At the start of Fox News in 1996, Roger Ailes, whatever your personal opinion is of him, said: "People don't want to be informed, they want to féél informed."

I get that this site has transformed to a political forum and a Trump stronghold in the past years. I don't like that transformation, not because of the political side, but because of the shift from an objective investigating forum to a mainly political forum. Because the damage it has done to our community, our society and our inter human relations and the division it created among us. It brought us to the verge of destruction and makes you wonder how long this forum can still exist as an independent, truth seeking voice. Wake the fuck up!

I understand and respect people being angry, upset and frustrated with the current events. As I also understand, on a public forum with thousands of visitors, there are those, the digital schoolyard bullies, who intentionally spread doubt, hate and division with their posts and continuous repetitive and abusive memes. And also on there, people follow like sheep, without checking what is right or not and join in on the abuse or a different opinion. And if it gets too heated, those opinions are being reported as abusive or people are banned, because it doesn't fit the current narrative. Many of us have drifted so far from our core.Is that how we want to remembered and live our lives? Be surrounded by negative energy?

We used to complement and motivate each other, investigate together to try and get the truth above water, respect two sides of the medal, compliment each other for the job well done. Now we get nasty with each other, demand proof that proof is fake and give out anonymous red karma, in line with the current atmosphere on GLP.

We used to fact check our information. Now we mostly rely on fact check sites and biased media channels, twitter and edited videos, again, on either side of the aisle. We have become lazy and believe what we hear or see. Since when did we become like that?

I will say it again. Our neighbor is not our enemy. It is healthy to have heated discussions about whatever subject, like it was already for ages before the digital era. This modern age Box of Pandora that the internet and media have become, has made it a game changer. Maybe it is time to rely more on our own instincts and get into normalized and even healthy heated discussion again, instead of letting our mood, opinion and attitude be determined by those who are only interested in getting the biggest market share, in order to control me, you and everyone else.

So wake the fuck up people! Get organized, not divided, above politics, above color, above lifestyle. Let's be our own judge and investigate again. Get angry about injustice, but find balance back between online and offline. There are more than enough parrots in this world. Disclaimer: Figure of speech. No actual parrots were meant in that last statement. Parrots Lives Matter.
