Maybe online voting, with each voter having to include their social security number (or whatever it's called in the States.) That way they can only vote once, illegals can't vote, or dead people... Anonymous Coward User ID: 79594890 United States 11/06/2020 12:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Before the next election, all voter rolls in all states need to be completely purged and all voters must be made to re-register. Quoting: Anonymous Cowherder Registration also needs to be changed from a near permanent status to one that expires, say in two years, and then must be renewed; like a driver's license. Successful voter registration must also include passing a civics test proving that the voter knows the basics about the Constitution and our form of government (a Republic, not a Democracy). {I have to take a test to prove that I know how to properly handle food and alcohol for employment in NV, which has to be renewed every 4 years, so why should voting be any different?} Fraudulent registrations need to carry a penalty of a minimum 5 year prison sentence and a $50,000 fine, not and/or, both. No....Just.....no, not happening. What is happening, and did happen on a small scale this election for testing purposes, is blockchain voting. Blockchain may be the future of voting, I hope it is. If we have to have a civics test to vote, then the president should half to have a long fucking list of prerequisites. Felons who aren’t murderers or rapist should be able to vote, too. |

Maybe online voting, with each voter having to include their social security number (or whatever it's called in the States.) That way they can only vote once, illegals can't vote, or dead people... Quoting: Tess. a big deal was/still is made about Iraqis voting and having "purple fingers" to show that they have voted and the MSM praises this as a show of election security. do a google search for "iraqis voting purple fingers" and see the articles from 2005 to the present. yet, no purple fingers in the US. a finger print on a paper ballot would work for verification purposes; use ink that can't be washed away and fades in 48 hours. I don't agree with the online voting, though. in my opinion, if a person can't be bothered to spend some time in line to vote in-person then they really aren't taking their vote seriously. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78551315 United States 11/06/2020 12:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There needs to be two sets of voting laws. One for federal elections, and one for state elections. The federal election laws should be very strict, and have requirements like being a citizen, providing ID to vote, being able to pass an eighth grade civics test, and possibly an IQ test with a score greater than 80. Of course, the libtards will whine and cry because very few of them would pass the IQ requirement. That way the states can do whatever they want and can fuck up their state beyond redemption, but it won't influence the federal elections that affect us all. |

Everything else that gets voted on will be on its own separate ballot and the states will make their own rules, like is currently done. Just my opinion. The most dangerous group of people in our country are those that make demands that another persons rights and liberties be infringed upon. |
