Who does the military work for... at this point?

They work for their still current and acting president.

Not the sleazebag who is being backed by bent media until the actual details are sorted.

There is a legal process.

No they dont, they swore an oath to the Constitution, not to any individual person. Yes he is commander in chief, but not the end all.They are not in play at the moment.
