Oregon decriminalized all drugs last night.

Oregon itself is nice. LOTS of rural communities and farm towns. I’m speaking mainly on the I5 big cities. Portland, Eugene, Salem, Medford. Well Medford was always kind of blegh.

Oregon will become a hotspot for suicide tourism. Oregon will lead the nation in deaths attributed to overdose.

I know Oregon well

It;s a statewide decision, so even smaller towsn that struggle with drug problems such as Coos Bay are going to be overwhelmed

Eastern Oregon BLM land and parks will be filled with methlab RVs way out in the woods

It's just not good for the entire state

I live in Eastern WA so 'when' the shitstains in Olympia force this through for us I may jump over the border to Idaho where it will never happen, and frontier justice is still a thing....

Nice, I've lived from Vancouver WA to Bellingham to Olympia since 1974, but finally followed the rest of my family out of the I5 corridor and over to eastern WA a few years ago. Best decision ever!
