People need to wake the fuck up. The virus isn't spread through the air. It *can* spread through the air, but transmission via aerosolized particles is so rare it may as well be ignored.
This virus has the exact same transmission vectors and R0 as the norovirus. It is spread by touch. They don't wear masks on cruise ships, they wipe the whole boat down with bleach. Masks make Covid-19 spread all the faster, because everyone is touching their fucking face every three seconds the entire time they are wearing them.
The only meaningful thing that stops the spread of a virus like this is washing your hands. Most people fuck that up too, all touching the same faucets and door handles after they oh so carefully scrub their hands, and then two seconds later picking their nose.

The claims made to the public about this topic are very similar to the claims made that you can melt debris covered armored steel with kerosene in a room air environment. The question is always why do people who know better think they can outrageously lie to the public?
