Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of it, too. Lots of girls from single moms are claiming to be gay. There's a daddy issue hidden in there somewhere.

Chubby girls who cannot get the interest of boys are saying they are gay. They want to save face.

Girls who are socially awkward are saying they are gay. Let's just add some blue hair and a girlfriend and they figure this makes them cool even if they are socially awkward.

Most of the daughters of lesbian mothers are also claiming to be gay. Also, man issues here.

So really, I'm not convinced these females are gay so much as they have other emotional problems which they try to lower/diminish by claiming to be gay. Time will tell I guess. They will either grow out of it or not.
