I was lucky: I felt everything was off in the world even as a child. Because of that, I retreated into reading. I only once attempted to fit into the system and drink the coolaid, from roughly 18-22, and I could feel it tearing at my soul.

It’s different for everyone. Just thank god you escaped ... some never do.
