Commercially manufactured and properly fitted and worn masks stop about 20% of that. Magic face diapers stop 100% of that and yet you can still breathe that's why they're magical! Next time you go into surgery, please request the physicians don’t wear masks. They are largely useless after all. Doctors wear masks during surgery to stop spittle and sneeze droplets from getting inside a patient's opened body. The don't wear them to stop viruses. The mask makers don't claim their products stop viruses, and in fact, state that right on the box.
