outrageously buttery User ID: 78354484 United States 10/01/2020 09:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Everyday the media reports another, oh my gosh!!! the horror!!!!, 1 or 2 cases at local high schools and you'd think the sky was falling. The worst part about schools in NY is that we all got screwed by the Democrats and their plan-demic political games, because schools have laid off employees...mental health is bad, stress is up, and the profession will not recover for many years from this trauma. Not gonna lie, though, the hybrid model has its perks. I like the block teaching and the later start times. But overall, education here is a shitshow. And if this is the new normal, not only for school, but society, then screw this, bring on the asteroid! Timor quem habebitis mox non memoria tenebitur |

Kentucky just started a color coded map like W.Va. has been using for a month or more, which says whether or not you can even go into in person classes or just do remote or a hybrid system. Everyone is forced to wear masks and social distance. I don't see it going away ever. If they don't think they are safe when you have like a 99.8/99.9% chance of survival it's the end times. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79390591 United States 10/01/2020 09:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Green Bay here, We are remote learning but today got robo call saying all staff will be sent home and will work remotely. There seems to be uptick in positive tests. My wife works at a nursing home. One staff tested positive now all staff have to get tested twice a week. Insanity. |
