Somebody needs to be interviewing the writer and author about the motivation for writing and drawing such a prophetic comic book. How could it all have been revealed 3-years later, per the comic book, if not planned in advance? Likelihood is probably much, much higher to get struck by lightning, twice, and 3-years apart.

Why? This is not Asterix, this is a story with static figures who have lost all of their characteristics (Asterix, the clever guy does not have to be clever, he is just dragging along, Idefix is a prop is Obelix's waistband, Obelix suddenly wants to win a race? He usually just wants to eat and beat up others) and the story is as flat as the background of the drawings.
Missing the funny dialogue, missing ... everything!
I grew up with my sister and brother reading Asterix to me (I could not read when they first came out) and loved Asterix ever since. But, this was a waste of money. If you compare to, e.g., "Asterix and the Banquet" .... two different animals !
So, should there ever be a next Asterix, I will get it from the public library (hoping for improvement of the story) and not waste money on it .
