Ron Paul just had what looked like a stroke

No, not old folk's nappiness. I had this happen to me while working in a high stress job and life situation. I was sitting at my desk doing a banking procedure and suddenly I began to see jagged patterns of light - like strobe lights. I was startled and closed my eyes to see if the patterns continued even with my eyes closed - and it continued with eyes closed. I knew then that it was brain related. I didn't tell anyone, but waited to see if it went away, which it did after 15 or so minutes.

I had elevated b.p. which I addressed and got normalized.

Years later I had cataract surgery and the doc said that my droopy right eye was caused by a small stroke which had gone to my eye.I still have trouble with the vision in that eye, but am grateful that it wasn't more serious and just served as a warning.

It was a very scary event.

Strange, there is a type of migraine, I get them, starts with a tiny C shaped squiglly zigzag colorful lines in my main field of vision.. It grows, then disappears 15 to 30 minutes. It's a non pain migraine.

Occular migraine.

I have seen my dad have strokes and this was not one.
