It is time to contact neighbors and set up comms, e.g., walkie tallkies or CB radio so that if one is attacked, all come to the rescue. Cell phone service could be interrupted.

A large mob will lose motivation quickly if a few go down wounded. Rifle fire from a distance is hard to counter.

My wife lived and suffered through a ruinous civil war in her home country started by communist rebels.

The current situation reminds me of the Tet Offensive where the commies tried to take over the cities and failed with huge casualties. Why do they keep doing the same thing? I guess its in their marxist training manual.

I hope for the "GLP Effect" where the commies realize that the populace is ready to repel any attacks.

Be especially aware of local targets such as electrical substations, high line towers, cell towers, etc. They must be guarded.
