The latest offering adds to the growing mountain of billions in debt and equity that Carnival has raised since the beginning of March, as the embattled cruise-ship operator struggles to 'stay afloat' - no pun intended. Six months into the pandemic pause, Carnival shares are down 4% in European trading Thursday morning after the international cruiseline operator revealed late Wednesday night that it would extend cancellations through the spring of 2021. They were deeply in debt before all this non-sense. Not only that, cruises are not an Agenda 21 approved vacation destination. |

If it had weed and I had the money I'd do it. And think of the cost savings. Land based assisted living costs a fortune [ link to www.seniorliving.org (secure)] |

What a bummer. I'm not sure the cruise lines are gonna pull through this. One year without any sailings? I cruise a lot and know that most of the major cruise lines were rapidly expanding their fleets. Many new ships on order and being built. MSC restarted cruising Europe in August, as far as I know, there have been no outbreaks of covid in the last month. |
