Found another article about a Florida man that was about to be put on a ventilator, , 103 deg F fever and struggling to breathe.

Patient was Kyle Carter, a 45-year-old music promoter living in Key West.

Carter is a big man. He stands six feet, four inches and weighs around 290.

"...For about three days, he felt like he had the flu. By Day 5, he had a fever of more than 103 degrees, “and I’m really feeling pretty awful,” Carter said. Five days later, he had a bad cough and trouble breathing. On the 11th day of the illness, Dr. Boros’ staff X-rayed his lungs and the right one was filled with fluid. He tested positive for COVID-19 and had developed viral pneumonia.

Boros told him about ivermectin, which he had been reading about as a possible treatment for COVID, and asked him if he wanted to try it. He did.

“By that point, I would try anything,” Carter said.

Boros said that Carter was on the verge of having to go on a ventilator, which he said is when most deaths occur.

“He was really sick,” Boros said. “He was going down the tubes fast and was going to wind up on a ventilator.

Starting around 4 p.m. that day, Boros gave Carter a large dose of ivermectin, 18 3-milligram pills over the next four hours. Carter took nine pills at first, five more about two hours later, and the rest of the dose early the next morning. Boros was worried at first about how much to give Carter since there are no established guidelines..."

“Within 12 hours, I’m starting to feel better. Twenty-four hours later, I’m out of the hospital and my actual symptoms have gone away,” he said. “I could speak entire sentences without having to cough.”

Other than a slight malaise, Carter said last week he is symptom free.

Boros believes in ivermectin’s effectiveness so much that he gives it to all his patients showing signs of COVID-19, especially since the drug has few known negative side effects."



To me, that is just astounding. Given that late in the illness, to someone that was circling the drain as they say.
One day later and they have no symptoms.

Great news.
I'm going to see if it's available in Canada from my doctor, and if so, get some for my elderly parents as well, just in case.

Ivermectin is an important Covid19 prophylactic. It inhibits viral RNA Helicase activity which inhibits reproduction.

OT but important to take, too, bump.

Apparently, Ivermectin is more effective than Hydroxy-Chloroquine at curing and preventing infection with Chinese Bat Aids. And, it is very inexpensive. You can buy a tube of paste for horses that will treat any animal or animals, up to a total weight of 1000 lbs for about five bucks. That's enough to treat 4 or 5 average people.

I would never tell you to take medicine made for livestock, but I can tell you the apple flavor they put in it to make it more palatable for horses tastes horrible.

I just put it on a strawberry jam sandwich.
No taste difference that I could detect.

I'm amazed they haven't taken down the videos referenced in this thread yet. :)

1. Ivermectin 12 mg - once daily (Day 1, Day 4 and Day 8)
2. Doxycycline 100 mg - once daily for 10 days
Or
Azithromycin 250-500 mg - once daily on empty stomach for 5-10 days
3. Zinc Picolinate 50 mg - once daily for 10 days

Prophylaxis adult (Borody Protocol download)

1. Ivermectin 12 mg - once with breakfast (Day-1)
2. Doxycycline 100 mg - once daily (Day 1-4) concurrently with
3. Zinc Picolinate 50 mg - once daily (Day 1-4)
4. Repeat every 2-weeks

If you are not a doctor, consult your doctor before taking any of these medications!
Most doctors recommend a dosage of Ivermectin of 91 mcg/lb or 200 mcg/kg of body weight.
The Borody dosage is apparently calculated for adults of average weight.
The Borody protocol does not mention the exact dosage of zinc in the linked documents, but most other doctors have recommended 50 mg of zinc per day as zinc picolinate or any other easily absorbed chelated zinc supplement.
Approximate dosage guidelines based on body weight (91 mcg/lb or 200 mcg/kg)


33 to 53 lbs: 3 mg
54 to 77 lbs: 6 mg
78 to 110 lbs: 9 mg
111 to 143 lbs: 12 mg
144 to 174 lbs: 15 mg
175 lbs or more: 0.09 mg/lb

Ivermectin is over the counter in Canada. Cost me $60 for 30 to get it which is expensive but better safe than sorry.
