There are 330 million Americans and 120 million prescriptions for synthroid in America. Now we know some are illegal aliens. Still it makes Synthroid among the most common pharmaceuticals. There are plenty of websites on it and why and the side effects.

I am a life long user of synthroid, generic is levothyroxin. I have not taken, used natural products like bovine gland, kelp, etc. Underactive thyroid runs in my dna. It is live giving for me and many others. When I don't take it, I lose hair, brain fog, emotional imbalance, etc. I have aged more quickly due to the many times that I would discontinue useage in order to try natural remedies. Can't speak for others but for me and many in my family it is life giving.
