I've lurked this site for at least a decade under other names, but one thing I really loved was hearing information that wasn't just an echo of what was available elsewhere. I realize the strife and election year make everything lousy, but it would be much more interesting if just a little more energy was devoted to figuring out the big things happening around us instead of the surface level of politicians. I feel like ten years ago, GLP would have been on Trump for rushing vaccinations and promising the military will deliver them, but everyone is distracted by the ultimately disposable enemy in the streets, paid for by the corporate class. Did people forget how to think critically, about how having an enemy all can hate is the easiest way to take power? A trap is being laid and people are rushing right into it. Let's try to figure that part out with as much vigor. |

Politics, “manufactured” crises, and media sensationalism have become the veritable Pied Piper(s) leading the rats to doom. Through all of this, I have seen staunch Libertarians push for more government, and seen moderate leftists go full-on violent insurrectionist. It seems that divide-and-conquer coupled with non-stop distractions has been successful, this far, for whatever reason. I have seen so many guesses on GLP as to what doom is headed our way, and Occum’s Razor indicates to me (that with so much work being put into division) tyranny for all is the outcome. My $0.02.... which is worth less and less every day. |
