It is hardly a joke worthy of ba-dum-tish. When certain individuals go psycho, (I mean, let's go out on a cliff-jumping limb here...,) they put on very oddly specific faces, scarring little immature minds, and (very unfairly might I add,) tell you "I knew you were afraid of me".

Now the interesting part here is that I suppose it is true. The scary part is the psycho part. You simply don't know how... psycho it is going to get. And again... we find ourselves... well, fearing is still a big word for the unknown... "Unhealthy curiosity" covers it I suppose.
