I gave the guys who were working on the power several jars of Georgia peaches that I canned this year. Guy said he was down here from Minnesota and never has Georgia peaches. I pray they enjoy them and the canned strawberry preserves also. I’m just so thankful to everyone helping everyone. Truly amazing when we all come together. Grandma9 |

The worst part of cooler life is finding ice when over 100k other people are too. Had solar for charging gadgets and hot water that is gas only so could have been worse. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79213937 United States 08/29/2020 09:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Storm is one of the worst to ever hit the state, it's going to be a while for many. Entire areas were completely blown away, or submerged in water. Dead bodies keep popping up too in the oddest places. It's also the largest storm since 1856, which was right before the civil war, and happened to knock down a civil war era Confederate monument that the local Government had just voted to keep in place several weeks ago. I don't believe in big coincidences, only small ones. |

Lived in my Airstream camper. 5000 watt generator made life EASY! You can talk shit about going without air conditioning, but when you work all day cutting trees, it sure is nice to take a whore's bath and fall asleep under some cold air! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79213937 United States 08/29/2020 10:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What's interesting about the fact that the storm intensified from nothing to an instant Cat 3, to almost a Cat 5, is that it literally happened when the killings in Wisconsin happened. The major context of the storm and where it hit, is the Civil War. Now you have two sides of the situation. 1. Those who believe James Bond was justified in going out with a rifle, looking for trouble, and finding it. 2. Those who believe it was cold blooded murder with a hint of premeditation (He wasn't a resident of Wisconsin, and wasn't protecting a personal or family business, nor a home) Why is this important? Because if the 'protesters' decide that it's time to show up armed and look for trouble in that regard, things are going to get real messy real fast, and nobody is going to be laughing anymore. Individual protesters have been involved in criminality, no question about it, but they haven't been looking to go out and murder anyone so far, which could all change. One things leads to another, and next thing you know, everyone is shooting everyone. Do we really want to go down this road again? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79213937 United States 08/29/2020 10:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | See now we have a video of James Bond hitting a woman, and subsequently getting his ass kicked by MEN. This is an important theme we'll get back to. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79213937 We're dealing with a situation where a little boy went out with a man's War Rifle, looking for trouble, and ended up ending two people's lives, and seriously wounding another at close range. GLP gun owners and Military Vets know that the purpose of AR style rifles is for long range combat, a pistol actually would have been equally effective, if not more so at that particular range. YOU DO NOT want people coming out with those things, who actually understand the purpose of them, and how to use them for that purpose. It would be one of the most terrifying things people have ever experienced. Don't let a little boy bring you into war against men that know what they're doing. There won't be any winners. |

I think less than a hundred hours both of our generators failed. What is the best generator? John 8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 8:50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. |
