Need prayers today. I am going in for 3 epidurals for my entire back today. I am a little anxious.

Just catching up on all the posts. Thanks for the prayers for my dad. He's doing much better.

I finally talked to my youngest brother this morning ! Him and his family and 4 fur babies are OK ! His house in Englewood has a damaged roof and fence damage. He has water dribbling into his living room and the ceiling is all wet. Where a vent pipe is in a closet, there is some debris. He is calling his insurance company.
He has no power or water, as no electric, no running water. He is a prepper, and has a generator with extra fuel, and stacks of cases of water.
He said the winds by him were 130mph. He said he was fortunate to have a newer home built with stricter hurricane standards, and live in a subdivision elevated about 10-12ft above the rest of the community. His house is rated to withstand winds up to 150mph.
No one knows when power will be restored. At least he has limited electric with his generator, and his WiFi is working. Besides his dogs, he embraces the 2nd amendment, so looters beware !

My sister has a vacation home just north of F Myers. They had 6 feet of water in the house. They're going down next week. A neighbor called them, said it looks like a war zone there.

Well, the epidurals were great actually. I did not feel anything. No anesthesia and the Doc was saying that was a mistake on my part. He did all 3 injections and said he was done. I asked him when he started.

Got anxious over nothing.


Praying for everyone. My the Lord put his blessings on everyone.

That is so awful ! My brother said they were so lucky, because so many lost everything, and all they had was repairable damage.

Having been through many hurricanes here in SE Louisiana, I can relate to the pain and frustration your family members are going through. Praying it all works out for them.

That's excellent! When the doc is good with a needle, there's really nothing to feel, and thank God yours was good. I've only had one that was seriously less-than-competent, and even that one was only uncomfortable during the procedure. Hope you have great results - I always did. The relief isn't permanent, but it's significant.

Tiger, happy for you with your brother's safety and your daughter's engagement. Hope the roof repair goes well.
