It should calm you ( maybe not straight away ) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79184125 Water soluble or oil with a lab test. Can you say what brand you bought. You should have good brands in US. Im using CBD isolate right now because it lets me relax in bed and is supposed to undo the effects of THC. That along with magnesium, l theanine, gaba, melatonin etc. They relax my body, but mind is wide awake. It races, while my body relaxes. Ive never felt so weird in my who entire damn life!! You mean what edible did I take? |

There are so many people walking around with a shot liver rn and they don't even know it. Liver disease is going to rise as a leading cause of desth in this country because of obesity rates. But you don't have to be obese either to have liver issues. Regardless, insomnia & sleep disorders is a big sign of a bad liver. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44883436 Maybe, but I never had insomnia before this. I slept like a baby. Its just all so weird. So many damn doctors of weed on this site... Obviously, as you can tell from your own experience, it’s the weed that caused the change. So, cut that shit out. Don’t listen to these people that say to try a different kind, or smoke it or eat it or rub it on your forehead. Everything is not for everyone, and I think you just found out weed isn’t your friend. So, get a little exercise, chill on the caffeine and alcohol, have a hearty dinner and then lots of sex, you’ll be sleeping like a baby. *INTJ* If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Who keeps leaving egg related karma?? Why? |

I had to give it up after 15 years because it started causing horrible panic attacks. My husband who smoked even longer than me also has given it up for the same reason. But you still enjoyed it for 15 years. Don't deny it. I really think it's the newer strains that are kicking both of our asses. I've posted about it plenty of times on other threads dealing with other people all of a sudden developing issues as well. It really sucks because we really used to love it. It's just not worth knowing from bag to bag whether I'm going to be flipping out for the rest of the night sitting in an ER parking lot until I come down enough to go back home or not. I can take a lot, maybe it's because of all that vitamins i'm taking And when I feel too stoned I take a cold shower or grape juice. Boes |

User ID: 41688351 Australia 08/23/2020 08:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some people just can't use it. It can trigger anxiety and paranoia in some. My sister was one of them and she freaked out , thought she was having a heart attack and it took a ambulance and a heart monitor to finally convince her she was not. You sound like you've gone into an anxiety loop , meaning your anxiety about not sleeping is keeping you awake and feeding the anxiety. I don't normally advise people to drink alcohol, but it may if you get sloshed enough , just send you to sleep. Stop worrying about not sleeping, eventually you'll just pass out anyway. Of course seek medical advise if other symptoms arise, but you will recover. Just don't take it again, it doesn't work for your system. User ID: 73724632 United States 08/23/2020 08:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm not a weed user but I have used CBD oil for pain relief and found it excellent. But I frequently do have terrible bouts of insomnia where I can go for days hardly sleeping. Maybe only a couple of hours a day. It's awful. I also have bad tinnitus so that can keep me awake at times. I agree with others about trying to keep your diet as clean as possible & drink plenty of water. Also watch relaxing stuff or just read before bed - computer light or tv light might bother you. One thing that's helped me a lot is to use HOT WATER BOTTLES. My husband, who is one of Earth's angels, makes me a hot water bottle in the wee hours of the morning and I put it up against my back. That frequently will help me to sleep. The other thing that helps me is listening to podcasts where someone has a droning voice. You're gonna laugh, but for me, one of the best is Dogman Encounters with Vic Cundiff (on YT). These are great stories but the important thing to me is that he has a very hypnotic quality to this voice and I just fall asleep listening to his show. This might just be my weirdness but I hope it helps you. Try not to worry, you WILL get back to sleep again, you just have to relax so you're not ANXIOUS about getting to sleep! |

Quoting: Love_Goddess Last week I decided to try some low dose Indica Cannabis for the very first time ever, for some arthritis in my left arm. I used 5mg of an edible every night for four nights, and each night my sleeping pattern grew increasingly worse, and I had was starting to feel anxiety creeping up, so I stopped it and decided it wasn't for me. That was six nights and I haven't been able to fucking sleep since!! I used to sleep from 9 to 5, but now I just toss and turn, and am lucky if I get two hours. Melatonin doesn't help, pure cbd oil doesn't help, over the counter sleep aids don't work, if anything, they make me even more alert! Ive had to quit working over this, and honestly, I am so upset and so terrified becauseI've never ever heard of this happening to anyone. Isnt Indica weed supposed to relax you? Do I just have to wait it out and wait for my system to get back to normal or have I done some kind of irreparable damage to myself? If I had known it had the potential to do this, I would never have gone anywhere near it. Its basically ruining my life. Maybe CKP has been right all along? Someone please just help me, because I can't go on like this. To say I hate marijuana is an understatement right now. Why didn't anyone warn me?????? If you were to have spoken to an actual person OFFLINE you would've known....and don't say you weren't warned of the dangers because you were - you just chose to ignore them. Oh come on, there are smart people here. You are here, aren't you? Are you saying you're stupid? I didn't know it was dangerous. People make it out to be harmless, but its not, is it? I can't condone its legalization. I wanna see it banned again. Why do you think it is up to you to make that choice for others? Have you ever done any T before this? As with most things, it is important to know your limits. Most can do with a lot less than what they take. If I am going to smoke, which has become rarer and rarer over the years, I want to be at home and not have to go out. I need less and less for a good buzz. It is stronger now than it used to be. That may be causing some problems. I would never recommend that someone start anymore than I would want to see anyone smoke their first cigarette or take their first drink, but, if you smoke cigs and drink, I don't think pot is any worse. You are better off without any type if drug, (pain meds, anxiety meds, ADHD drugs, the list goes on) except for some medical conditions. I have a friend on high blood pressure medication who hasn't been able to sleep well in decades. Guess what the side effect is? Sleeplessness. Now she takes muscle relaxers, pain meds, anxiety meds (all related to the sleeplessness). I think she would benefit from the use of cannabis which she won't take because she goes to the pain clinic and gets urine tested regularly. People need to be honest with themselves and quit looking for excuses. |

An indica will put you to sleep no problem, but if you aren't enjoying the high and rather afraid of it your mind isn't going to relax. Just remind yourself if you feel uneasy that it's just the cannabis and it'll pass, nothing bad will happen to you, it's impossible to OD on weed, just sit and enjoy. You really shouldn't be feeling any anxiety but I've been smoking since I was 15, I barely feel anything lol, it wasn't until I started cocaine that I felt anxiety. |
