Man!! This is the kind of mass insanity you can never quite make up and have it make sense. Since this is now a reality then it stands to reason eventually employees in whatever State in the Union will be forced to wear tight fitting plastic bags over their heads... and forced to work faster, harder, and for much longer hours than ever before all with cut pay of course. How lucky are those who are permanently without jobs because they are considered "non-essential"?
