Even though he was a senator, he wasn't really on a national stage until Obozo, for the most part. My point was time. Yes, years. And others like you have been "screaming it for (more) years." If you watch the hearings, there's a LOT of P>O>S senators there, like Shumer. Hell I remember about the only decent one not defending the governments' actions was Sonny Bono, who was murdered for it. Agreed! I don't know how they brainwash their constituents to forget about all of these atrocities and how they behaved during them anymore. It was easier in the past to whitewash everything without the internet. Generally speaking, we were fairly reliant on the media to know what was happening, and politicians were quite comfortable knowing we (the public) didn't have all of their statements at our fingertips. Researching their comments took quite a bit of time and effort sorting through interviews on VHS tapes, or sorting through hours of microfiche articles. Not anymore. Let the truth be known.
