:german3: Thanks, I think that this is the first thread about the Rapture that I've done without being bombarded by repetitive spam, which does make for a pleasant change. What is very sad though, is the great lack of interest that most people have about the salvation of their souls.

OP, what if the 2nd coming, end of days, rapture or what you believe is imminent, is actually not what you think it is? What if it's not Christian-based, and not even religion based, but something more inclusive that deals with humanity in general?

Non of us can even guarantee our next breath, yet we blithely assume that we will have years or even decades to make up our minds, in the meantime enjoying our sinful ways. I had a dream a few years ago where a person I knew was skating along the ice with dark storm clouds in the background, carrying on with their life, when all of a sudden the section of ice that they where on gave way, there was an anguished cry for help, and then they where gone.

While it is true that the Lord is patent and long suffering towards us. We have also been warned that the Lord will come suddenly as a thief in the night and snatch away those who are His. Leaving the fence sitters to face the hell on earth that is coming, with perhaps a small chance of obtaining salvation as one of the Tribulation Saints.

This is the season of the Rapture and it could happen in a few moments or in a few months. Use the brain that the Lord gave you and look around the world and see it as it truly is. There are no particular events that have to happen before the Rapture takes place. Either you are ready or you are not.

You have still been blessed with a little time, turn to the Lord now with all your heart and He will be quick to hear you. But don't take all day about it, you could be hit by a bus tomorrow and then where would you be.

And remember read the bible as it is written, do not listen to liars who would add or take away from the words of the Lord.

KJV 1 Thess. 4 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

There IS NO RAPTURE. We will all suffer, believers and non-believers alike. READ YOUR BIBLE. Many will turn from their faith. How can they turn if they have already ascended? BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL ON EARTH WITH EVERYONE ELSE.

Look, I understand it scares you to think that you will have to suffer even though you believe. I believe too! But I also know that there is no escape and we must all go through it.

Be strong, and don't lose your faith because you don't get "beamed up".

:german7: This passage from Isaiah directly contradicts you. Isaiah 57 1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Individually we may or may not have to suffer various persecutions during our lifetime, but those who believe in the Lord will not be here for the Great Tribulation. We are still in the Age of Grace and you are wasting what little time that you still have left.
