I always thought Laura Harring had an unearthly beauty, but she never seemed to make it and get good parts.

She's 56 and is lovely.

Cher typically looked her best on that show. And she generally pulled it off well.

But being in the same shot as Raquel Welch, wearing a dress like that? Absolutely no competition. All eyes are on Raquel, period.

But with Cher's ego, she probably fooled herself into thinking the two of them are in same league. Cher would have done better to go crawl under a rock somewhere. I'm sure if she'd had been honest with herself, its what she'd rather have been doing.

Cher, next to Raquel, is just a distraction and a pest. Completely upstaged on her own show.
