Anonymous Coward User ID: 78673355 United States 08/02/2020 12:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Knock on wood- my family has benefitted during this crisis. I never had to stop working and my husband got unemployment with the bonus. Last week my husband landed a job paying $14 an hour at 40 hours a week plus we saved our stimulus and had been saving for a year before. All in all we managed to save quite a bit and bow we are moving an hour outside the city to the area near my husbands workplace. The neighborhood we are moving to is very rural, clean and calm with extremely low crime. I just quit my job last week due to constantly having to deal with violent, aggressive customers. I felt It wasn't worth it for the $300 a week even to possibly be harmed or worse. The majority of the citizens in my city are already aggressive, add the covid and that makes for a tumultuous climate. The best thing we did was save money and prep. Right now we are up north in the family cabin, a 3 room 2 bath with boat. It's a little break from the horrible city and may serve as a bug-out if need be. My advice is to save money and look for work and new shelter in rural America. Get out of the cities because it will only get worse.
