Just about 5 months after recovering and still left with those same dull, constant headaches just about every day. Some days are worse than others, but they are always there. A Neurologist suggested we up our B2 intake as well as take magnesium every night before bed to see if that would have any effect. Planning on getting an MRI done soon to actually try to see what's going on in there. The bad news is nothing lasts forever. The good news is nothing lasts forever. |

I still feel a little weirdness down there occasionally, but nothing like it was. After the respiratory symptoms were gone my eye sockets got really inflamed, it was horrible. I looked like I got stung by bees. That's gotten better, but they still feel tingly and irritated. The tingling has spread over my face. It feels a little bit like having noxema on my forehead and cheeks. But at least I look normal again. Best wishes OP, there's a lot of us having these strange lingering symptoms. |

Slowed down some, but it's still daily and I didn't want to aggravate that. Did it cause you any gastric issues? Thanks for the info and glad you're feeling better!! No gastric issues ATM. But I am limiting my supplements to "mykind organics" food sourced multivitamins, serrapeptase, and vitamin D3 right now. Magnesium causes gastro issues for me, you might consider stopping the magnesium supplements as they're probably not helping with your hubby's gastro issue? The Quercetin I was taking seemed to make the rashes and itching I was getting on my wrists, chest, and underarms worse. So I decided to limit the supps I was taking in case I was having a negative reaction to something. The rashes and itching is almost gone, still a bit itchy but the visible rash spots are almost gone. I'm also eating very basic foods as some of these symptoms seem like exaggerated allergy reactions? Like my immune system is overreacting to things I normally tolerate. |

(OP) User ID: 34460780 United States 08/01/2020 04:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The magnesium can probably be stopped. I'll do that for a week. He has had a lot of leg cramps at night for a couple of years. We'll do cayenne and vinegar along with potassium and magnesium to stop those. But he's slowed since we started with the magnesium theronate on those. But he's not very active atm, so maybe curbing that would indeed help with the tummy troubles. I read a lot of people develop allergies after having Covid. That doesn't seem to have manifested here. Hopefully it wont! Here are his ongoing issues. Myalgia, exhaustion, brain fog, weird spontaneous smells (he never lost taste or smell, but for awhile most things smelled and tasted like artificial banana to him), headache, gassy and diarrhea, as mentioned before, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, chest tightness, general weakness, some low back pain. I forgot to mention that we're also doing a pretty fair probiotic and juicing once a day, usually vegetables with a couple apples for help with taste. Anonymous Coward User ID: 73615824 United States 08/01/2020 10:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | First off, I know there are a great number of people who think Covid is total bunk. Please don't bother here. Soon enough, you or someone you love will experience it and you will accept that it's an actual thing. So, please just move on. I'm going to monitor the thread and won't tolerate a bunch of bs flags, etc. Quoting: Fluffy Pancakes What I am interested in is actually addressing the problem and finding solutions/ameliorating help in fighting against reinfection or continued effects of having this Chinese bioweapon hitting our bodies. Yes, this is personal. My husband has this, and it is debilitating to him, hence to me. I'm going to run through the ramp up to getting the Covid diagnoses, and then the symptoms that he is still having over a month after knowing what we are dealing with. In mid June, he began to get a sporadic stinging-shooting pain in his upper nasal passages. About a week later, bouts of diarrhea in the morning, and a dull constant headache set in. Then a congested feeling in the sinuses, kind of like allergies, but allergy meds didn't touch it. Then the dry cough set in followed by serious exhaustion in 4 days and shortness of breath right on it's heels. Symptoms of Covid usually become strong, if they are going to become strong, after about 6 days from the first presentation. We'd been doing a home baked prophylaxis with 100mg of artemisinin and zinc among other things, and I believe that slowed the manifestation of symptoms down. But it wasn't sufficient to stop the thing. We'd been being careful, but in our area, most people believe it is a full on hoax still. So in general, people conduct themselves the same as before Covid 19 came into being. At any rate, he has RA, and probable Lyme, so we took precautions as those maladies make one more susceptible to getting this in a more dangerous fashion. I believe there are things we can do to mitigate the damage. But I still have a great number of unanswered questions. First off, will a regimen of HCQ along with zinc help to combat the effects of the long haul? Can it help to mitigate reinfection? Below, I will post his continuing symptoms, and what we are trying to do to help prevent more damage to organs, and mitigation of symptoms. But I'd like to start kind of a think tank here, and get the people of GLP working together to help address the 1/3 of people who get Covid that deal with the "long haul syndrome." Please chime in if you or a loved one has had Covid and share what you are doing to address lingering symptoms/effects of this. HCQ is only good in the early stages, while the virus is replicating. I am a “long hauler” as well. Sick entire month Jan, then major relapse the first of March....much worse, thought i would die. I was sick for almost 2 months. I am mostly better, but still have the ocassional flare ups. I want to go to cardiologist because i suspect i had heart damage when i got sick In March, but back then hospitals were refusing you unless you needed a vent, all Drs were closed....i was completely on my own. It was hell. Few things that helped me: Reduced glutathione Folinic acid (helped fatigue) And for me...i think it messed up my intestinal systems, digestive enzymes have helped recently...glutamine/probiotics helped heal it back in May. |
