Why is Canada beoming a militaristic country lik ethe USA?

That's like asking why anyone who spends all of their time next to someone infected with a contagious disease catches the same disease. Poor Canada and Mexico so close to the Empire of Evil.

Don't worry I don't think the Canadian Air Forces Cessna 172's with mounted 50 cals are any match for our stealth fighters.

Because, after organizing into factions, then States, then Countries, all bent on making a living off the blood of others, Governments now are forced to militarize so they can carry on the rape of the whole planet because they understood the business of human consumption laws,

"Humans must feed on humans to prosper".

Living in the states, I first started making regular trips to eastern Canada during the first Gulf War. It was always a shock to cross the border, in either direction. On the south side were yay-hoos with "Nuke Iraq" t-shirts and bumper stickers, and everybody had yellow ribbons stuck on everything. The war mood was high. Crossing into Canada was such a huge relief… the mood was peaceful, the news reporters had a completely different tone about the war…moderate and studied… an overall lack of rhetoric and warmongering fanaticism.

Brian Mulrooney's time in office saw the slow but undeniable 'Americanization' of Canada. As a US citizen becoming 'Canadianized', so many of the unique aspects of Canada's national personality I loved seemed to be deteriorating before my eyes. Today we have Stephen Harper, who seems like a George Bush mini-me. I'm guessing we'll see the final, total sellout of Canada to America on his watch.

Canada's mood has definitely got more militaristic with their participation in Afghanistan. Now we're also looking north, and defending the Northern Passage against invading Russians is big in the news. But don't let that fool you… All week, we've had young, uniformed Air Cadets standing in front of the supermarket and Walmart with cans, collecting coins to help financially support their mission. I asked one yesterday just who/what they were, and she said they were quasi-government, but worked under the direction of the Canadian Air Force. Pretty bad when your defense workers have to panhandle for their budget…
