I worked in a restaurant in Chicago that had several eastern Europeans, a manager that was from the former Yugoslavia and a Serbian. I didn't know much about their history but one night I did hung out with the serbian and he confessed (while very high and very drunk at like 4 in the morning) that he is a Serbian sleeper.

I imagine there are sleeper cells of all sorts in the US.
