The mask thread about boldness made me think of this question

I know what you mean...I cringe every time I go out, and see people driving with masks on...either way, alone or with passengers
Most likely, the people riding around in cars together also live together...so it makes no sense to wear a masks with someone you're already sharing living space & air with
It's gotten worse since summer, when you originally posted this

It makes zero sense to wear a mask unless you're a surgeon.
