Marshmallow root - tea okay, but capsules are great! I use them all winter.

Tea of mullein and stinging nettle with local honey. Calms allergies, too. Mullein is a wonderful lung tonic.

Cut up red onion. Put in Mason jar. Add cayenne or habanero pepper to tolerance. Bit of ginger. Cover with local honey. Put lid on jar and let it set overnight. Soothes everything.

My mom always used to tell me to gargle warm salt water because I always have tonsillitis, still do because they refused to tske them out instead giving me loads of antibiotics my whole life. Now its too late.
The salt water tho... Omg... It does work. Takes a while to get used to but shrinks everything down and heals. Quick. Also eat raw garlic. Kills most germs in throat.

Honey, lemon, and bourbon was the cure when I was a kid. The honey and lemon help with the sore throat and cough, the bourbon helps you sleep.

Well alcohol does kill a lot of bacterias.

Sounds good to me and workable.
