At least six piles of blackened bones around that truck. I was not expecting to see that many people would have just dropped like that.

I thought they'd all be on fire and some would eventually die, but they'd all be able to run away. And you'd see crippling, disfiguring injuries that would eventually take some lives in a few days, weeks, months. But I really didn't think it'd be 'woosh' *collapse.* *dead.* that quick.

For anyone standing in the fume cloud, the effect is thermobaric. The ignition sucks the air out of the lungs and the instinctual reaction is to inhale. Collapse is instant, death fairly quick.

I think I saw an article on this, 7 fatalities, about 50 or so injured.

I really can't blame them for taking the fuel as they probably wouldn't be able to recover much anyway. I don't think it would be saleable.
