so I watched a video earlier...cardiac nurse says the virus will pass right through the type of masks they wear in surgery. so whats the point of wearing it?

Thank you I've had Pneumonia 3 times in my life and have gone to hospitals, when I walk in I ask for a mask. Every single time the doctors thank me for thinking of them.
