Digibyte may not ever go anywhere. It needs an oversight committee.

Gold will live on. Plenty of sybaritic people on the planet.

You do know gold dealers have handheld x-ray florescence spectroscopy units that can instantly analyze the contents of a gold bar, don't you?

Obviously you don't even understand what Digibyte is or any other crypto.

You are just like most moontards on the internet. You love Digibyte because it's a penny stock and you think you will become a billionaire.

If quizzed on the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies, you would fail...spectacularly.

norespect

Not without melting them down.

From your link:
Analysis is completely non-destructive, not altering the sample in any way (although certain types of samples must undergo preparation prior to analysis for accurate results)

If it were so easy they wouldn't continue to find large shipments of tungsten plated gold all the time and this news story wouldn't exist

Other coins can be made out of thin air. Even bitcoin itself has been forked a few times. It's no guarantee. It's backed by the people who mine it and maintain the network.

Gold I can hold in my hand. They both serve their purpose.

Makes way more sense to put your money in a trustless algorithm where humans are taken out of tbe equation than trust in a piece of worthless paper they print everyday by the trillions called cash

Nothing says resist the establishment like digital currency. That's why governments have been pushing the idea for decades and the rich are all for it. Fight the power! By owning nothing of tangible value and having what you do own tracked, traced, manipulated and confiscated at the push of a button! Now that's freedom. All those people who came before us that were smart enough not to trust governments and rich people with their money were fools man. We're way smarter. Hell, digital currency theft doesn't even qualify as a crime in most countries. What could be better than having everything you own stolen and having no recourse! It's so awesome.
