Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. 21 See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. I have no problem with that, only with your wrong interpretation of it. The Rapture Saints are taken away before the Tribulation starts. The Tribulation Saints are people who for whatever reason where not right with the Lord at the time that the Rapture takes place, but who later came to a saving grace and turned to the Lord while they still had a chance. And do not forget that that the many millions who have already died in Christ are included amongst the Rapture Saints. You cannot deny that they exist but you never provide any satisfactory explanation of how they all fit into this. But the Rapture does. KJV 1 Thess. 4 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. |

Lester User ID: 1659909 United States 06/30/2020 11:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Actually, the "battle" is between you and your carnality, which Father Calls "your stony-heart" in Ezekiel 36:26-27. HIS Witness there, relayed by HIS Prophet, is that HE Will Give Us "A New Heart"; a New Heart Of HIS Flesh... And Enable Us To KNOW and DO HIS Will and "Keep MY Statutes". This IS The Concise Witness of The Born-Again Life. ONLY Father-God Can Deliver us from our carnal-heart. The battle is between you and your carnality or your "natural man", which denies that you need to Come Unto The Father. It's the carnality of the Laodicean preachers/teachers/ministers that causes them to have never been Born-Again. Their carnality tells them their divinity degree or denominational credentials "are enough"; thus, they have No Knowledge of how to Answer God's Call. The carnal heart is a foe only capitulation, surrender Unto The Father can defeat. It takes brokenness to become a Partaker In God's Victory and Holiness. Adam and Eve chose self-will over God's Will in the garden; and thus they became carnal, living for their will and desires. Only The Blood Of Christ could redeem us of the stain of their sin. God The Father cannot look upon sin. Christ Jesus Brought The Gospel and Redemption. Jesus Made/Enabled our Way Unto The Father By HIS Sacrifice! Up to each one of us to Answer God's Call. The wholeness of Christ and Christianity is to Enable Our Coming Unto The Father. Jesus Witnesses this in Matt 22:1-14... "The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a Certain King WHO Made A Wedding Feast For HIS Son". The parable is all about the "invited guests" who spurned The King's Invitation, and HIS Servants Who Went Out and Found Other Guests... No further mention of The King's Son but in verse 2, cited above. EVERYTHING IS About HIS Father, The King! Jesus' closing verse, verse 14 goes: "For many were Called, but few are Chosen!" Get it? All the invited guests were Chosen to attend the Wedding Feast. None in the parable chose-elected to attend... God The Father has put Knowledge of WHO Jesus IS on many Christian hearts, but only a few decide to Trust God Fully and Completely and give him all they are and all they ever would be. Few Choose-Elect to Come Unto The Father... The "battle" is with your carnal-heart; will you break-through its barriers to capitulate your all Unto The Father? Jesus Won Father's Victory on calvary. God's Victory can be our own only by Coming Unto HIM in surrender of self. Surrender Unto The Father is "dying unto self" and is what must happen before Father Gives Us Our New Heart Of HIS Flesh... Only Father-God Can Deliver us from our carnality. There is no "working on yourself" to become "better" on your own. Got to have your Wedding Garment to stay at The Wedding Feast; must have your Born-Again Heart of HIS Flesh! "Marvel not that I Say unto you; Ye MUST Be Born-Again!" John 3:7 "...No man Cometh Unto The Father but BY ME!" John 14:6 Jesus Is All About HIS Father's Will. Are you? |

You are using the interpretation of a past preacher or two who lead the sheep astray. Preachers who say that Christ did not know about a pretrib rapture. If there was a pretrib rapture most assuredly Christ would have mentioned it. Christ told us about the ressurection as did Paul. Then Paul mentions one word(harpazo) about ressurection about the 2nd coming and low and behold pretrib preachers form a whole knew doctrine how they are special and tribulation saints who follow the word of God and die for him are lesser people. Something does not add up and you fail to see the error. Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. In addition these tribulation saints rule with Christ. Where does it say again pretribbers rule with Christ? Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Are the pretribbers stuck in heaven while Christ is on earth with the tribulation saints? If there was a pretrib would Christ leave his so called pretrib bride? The answer is no because there is no pretrib. A pretrib is not logical with scripture. Achduke |

It is best to support the TRUTH of the pre-trib rapture with a scripture about the pre-trib rapture. n 1 Thessalonians Paul speaks of both the FIRST resurrection (pre-trib rapture) and the SECOND resurrection. Many cannot tell which is being spoken because of poor Bible understanding. Notice: 1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be IGNORANT, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. In the verses above Paul is addressing the IGNORANCE of not knowing of what would happen to the people who died BEFORE THE SECOND RESURRECTION and the final return of Jesus. They were afraid that those people would not have eternal life. So Paul explains what will happen to those people. Regardless of what happens (even an ESCAPE [rapture]) those people will be at the SECOND RESURRECTION and will rise first in the first resurrection. You see there are two resurrections. The first One is associated with the ESCAPE (rapture). Read: Rev_20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. What did all the people in the first resurrection have in common? ALL OF THEM HAD BEEN BEHEADED! The saints that have NOT been beheaded are not resurrected. The beheaded ones are resurrected and live with the ESCAPED (raptured) saints at a PLACE called the New Jerusalem for a thousand years. The second resurrection is AFTER the thousand years and the GREAT TRIBULATION (when Satan is loosed). And it last for 3 1/2 years Read: Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. So Paul is saying that at the Final return (SECOND RESURRECTION) that the dead in Christ will rise first and the righteous people left alive on the planet will be caught up to meet them in the air (that would be whatever remnant of the 144,000 that are still alive at that time). PAUL WAS IN NO WAY SPEAKING OF RAPTURE HERE. Notice the verse below about ESCAPE from the wrath. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. In the verse above Paul reminds the saints the Jesus' death and resurrection DELIVERS them (allows for their ESCAPE [rapture]) from the wrath that was coming. Provided they are alive at the time of the event. Therefore this verse is about the FIRST resurrection and the PRE-TRIB RAPTURE. SEE REV 20:4,5 Note next verse: 1 Thessalonians 3 3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. 4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. In the verses above Paul advises them not to be upset about the TRIBULATIONS that they WERE presently going through. He warned them that believers would suffer. We have been going through TRIBULATION ever since Jesus was killed, however it is not the GREAT TRIBULATION. You see Jesus started the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation while He was living. He suffered the entire 3 1/2 years He was preaching; 42 months. THEN THEY KILLED HIM in the middle of the week! These things are all happening NOW before the Great Tribulation. The reason the Great Tribulation has not started is because God PAUSED the clock for the GENTILE AGE. John called US his BROTHER and COMPANION in tribulation. This meant he was in tribulation and we will be going through this tribulation WITH HIM. Read: Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. The ESCAPE will be BEFORE the Great Tribulation which happens at the end of the thousand years after Satan is loosed for 3 1/2 years; 42 months. Paul is CLEARLY talking about the ESCAPE (rapture). WE ARE WAITING FOR THE FIRST RESURRECTION - ESCAPE (rapture). SEE REV 20:4,5 ABOVE. 1 Thessalonians 5 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, As you can see Paul is again talking about being ready to ESCAPE (be raptured) and the First resurrection.. Paul says God hath not appointed us to the wrath that will follow the ESCAPE (rapture) and the FIRST RESURRECTION |
