Nope, you've got capitalism wrong! The more education you have, the better paying job you get. You see, ANYONE can do manual labor (that's where the blisters come in). If you want a good paying job, you need an education. You don't need smarts to pound in a nail or rake the lawn, but not many people have the intelligence or training to be a doctor or a lawyer, and that's what this couple do for a living, run a law firm.

You know the GOOD thing about capitalism? Everyone is free to get an education. Some finish high school. Some go to trade school. Others go to college. Still others drop out of school and complain when they have to work long hard hours to make barely enough money to get by on. Still, even those who drop out of school are free to further their education so they can get themselves a better paying job.

Those are known as "Worlds Fair Homes" as they were built around the time of the 1904 World's Fair held in St. Louis' Forest Park which is a few blocks away from this couple's Gatsby style home. That neighborhood is truly remarkable. Unfortunately just a few blocks north is one of the most dangerous areas in the entire United States. I know a man who bought a 3 story 10 bedroom home in this neighborhood for 100k in the early 80's, when St. Louis' north side was even worse than it is now.
