The people This directly affected the WE, the people. The people are the ones that put him in office, thus his decision hinged greatly on this as nearly any decision at this point would look bad. If you will recall, in the very beginning he saw the play of this virus, and called for calm and reassurance that we would handle it together. The villains milked every part of this virus...from the videos of people collapsing out of China, to the constant reports of mass die-offs in Italy...the media's job was to put the spin on this as much as possible and utilize every negative facet of this faux diamond to bring down a booming successful economy, tarnish the image of the president, and ensure that Americans, and the world for that matter, saw President Trump as a leader disconnected from the events taking place within our nation and a leader crippled by the inability to lead with sound judgment. As the effects of the virus took their toll, states and foreign nations were demanding ventilators at an unprecedented rate, and via medical advisors/Dr. Fauci, ventilators were a way to preserve life (and a reasonable method of getting that idiot in NY to shut up already). You take the best advice and information you have on hand and act on it. That is all. It was the lesser of two evils and it seemed to favor Americans lives. Only later do we all learn the truth, and the President clearly ascribes the responsibility of this solely on China. One would think that a nation that centers on the value and preservation of its people, now suffering under a crippling "pandemic", would open its proverbial arms to the world in order to save its people. But China did not. They, much like those who orchestrated the election fraud, resisted and would not allow eyes to see the truth. That is my take on it. “My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.” -Stonewall Jackson "The Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to a person who is not." - Charles Spurgeon “I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe . . . Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy.” “If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” -Daniel Webster |
