it's kind of an embarassing issue. trump at first blieved they would be and a lot of companies came to the rescue. they did some marvelous things. only to be told the respirators were not needed and were actually killing people as they were the wrong treatment. it's a bit of a mess.

so to not upset anyone were kind of left going through the motions.

Yeah, but that is way, way expensive. We have no need for the additional machines. It is common sense. These are needed for some reason they are not telling us . simple!

7300 psi sounds ridiculous for a mile..

that's over 500 atmospheres in a mile?

I really don't think so, it would be easy just stop and say . . . we did such a good job they are not needed.

So it is a way for the companies to make much money . . . you think Trump wants GM to make a ton of cash on vents . . . is this a way to hire more American workers, etc.?

Seems most people think the reason include all the options on the poll. And includes my choice of decompression treatment.

That is always an option for any government operation; however, there has to be a way to launder most of the cash. This is too transparent.

Trump gets things done! He doesn't sit around and talk about it.

Ventilators have been an issue for decades...the same concern came up with H1N1 when obama was president.

Now, because of president Trump...it will never be a concern again (or atleast not for 100 years).
