Corrupt beings typically follow such spiritual nonsense because that is how one feels on a spiritual level due to how one's Corruption is consuming them from the inside out. As one's Corruption consumes them from within one's energy flows become increasingly more broken which makes one feel increasingly more divided over time. That is why Humanity has been so deeply weakened, debased as a species from their original worth, and their birthright as a species stolen from them by Lucifer and Satan. People like and such as yourself, OP, will weaponize the knowledge you have acquired one way or another against a lesser species like and such as Humanity. It is all in ultimate effort to lead as many of said lesser species to Corruption. Once they are Corrupted they strictly raised along whatever Corrupted Paths designed and operated by the top tier Corrupt beings who Corrupted the members of the lesser species who willingly chose Corruption. This is where the "understanding is the next level". From there "knowing is the final step" is simply willingly accepting your Corruption, it taking root in your soul vessel, and you choosing your specialized Path in Corruption. Once you have chosen your specialized Path in Corruption you will literally know everything you want within that Path.

So it is not really play on words, puns, and/or word plays the Corrupt really use. It is the non-Corrupt species' lack of knowledge that ultimately causes them to fall to Corruption.
