To those fathers whose kids don't recognize their contributions: I am sorry, truly sorry we live in a feminist-centric world that belittles everything men do for their kids. You do it because it's the right thing to do and you love them. We know the truth and that is enough. I know how badly it can hurt to not get a call or card, it can tear your heart out. I've been there but hang in there long enough and they will see you were there all the time despite whatever lies your ex may have told about you.

You treat your children's mother with respect, because your father never did so to your mother.
