I'm no fan of Albert Pike. He was a genuine racist and a man whose first loyalty was to the Lodge; God and Country came second. With that said, history should never be torn down. And if those who fought in the Civil War were alive today, they would be ashamed at what is happening. Most of the Confederate Generals had gone to military school with their Northern counterparts. They never bore ill will to each other, even during the war. The war was fought and one side emerged victorious. It wasn't personal. The defeated accepted defeat and spent the rest of their lives as great Americans. Fuck Antifa and Black Lives Matters and anyone else who destroys these great monuments. They are no better than ISIS and the other Islamic iconoclasts. Antifa and BLM are more racist than any confederate general. Why stop at tearing down the monuments of Confederate generals? Why not tear down the Lincoln Memorial? Lincoln was no angel. It was a mistake to give Antifa and BLM an inch, because now they are going to try and take it all.
