She was SO successful that she was awarded not only a medal but a lifetime contract for her likeness which resulted in a major promotional push, thousands of personal appearances and merchandising.

"Green was one of the organizers of the Olivet Baptist Church.[9] Her career allowed Green the financial freedom to become an activist and engage in antipoverty programs.[10] She was one of the first African-American missionary workers. One of her children grew up to be a prominent doctor.

The other one grew up to be Chicago Circuit Judge Charles M. Walker.
